About Heirloom Everlast

Heirloom Everlast is a small independent shop run by Steven Lee, a sole proprietorship based in Buena Park, California. It is not a large company. When you email us, you are emailing the person who runs it.

The card is the point

Most personalized jewelry stores sell you the necklace and stop there. You are then left doing the hard part yourself, usually in a parking lot, with a pen, on a card you grabbed at the last minute.

So every order here includes a message card, free, with no minimum and no upsell. You pick a design, you type what you want it to say, and it is printed on real card stock and tucked in with the necklace. Up to 300 characters, printed exactly as you type it — your spelling, your capitals, your line breaks. We do not tidy it up, because the way you write to someone is part of what you are giving them.

That is the whole idea. The necklace is the object. The card is the thing they keep in a drawer and read again later.

What we sell

Eleven necklaces, in two groups.

Personalized pieces are cut or engraved from the text you choose: a name in flowing cursive, a name paired with a heart, a cross with your engraving, and a birth month flower with a name. Ready-made pendants are for when the design should speak instead of a name.

All of them come in polished stainless steel or an 18k gold finish on an adjustable chain, and all of them come with the card.

How your order actually gets made

Plenty of small jewelry sites imply there is a person at a bench making your piece by hand. That is not our story, and you should know how this one really works before you buy.

Heirloom Everlast designs the pieces and the message cards and takes your order. The necklaces themselves are manufactured and shipped by ShineOn, a jewelry manufacturer in the United States that produces each piece to order. Your message card artwork is prepared here and sent with the order, so the card that arrives is the one you wrote, laid out the way you wrote it.

What that arrangement buys you is worth saying plainly: American manufacturing, no import wait, and no minimum order — which is the only reason a shop this small can offer a genuinely one-off engraved piece at this price at all.

Nothing is made until you order it. There is no warehouse of pre-engraved necklaces waiting for someone named Sarah to turn up — your necklace does not exist until you buy it, which is why production takes 1 to 3 business days before it ships.

Orders are produced and shipped Monday to Friday. Full timings are in our shipping policy, and they are written in business days on purpose, because a gift with a date attached deserves an honest number rather than a flattering one.

What we will do if we get it wrong

Engraving is unforgiving. A name is spelled one way and one way only, and we print whatever you typed without correcting it — which means when something goes wrong, it matters more than it would on an ordinary product.

So: if the mistake is ours, we remake the piece. Not a discount, not store credit. And if you simply do not love it, send it back within 30 days for a full refund — we pay the return shipping, and we do not ask why. The details are in our refund policy.

If you spot a typo right after ordering, email us straight away. Before engraving starts we can usually just fix it, and nothing has to travel anywhere.
